What is an unlimited email finder?

An unlimited email finder gives you a daily allowance of work email searches for one fixed monthly price. With OrbiSearch, your plan sets the daily search limit, from 10,000 to 75,000 searches a day, and every email found is verified and included. It works in the web app and over the API.

Do I need to validate the emails it finds?

No, there's nothing to revalidate. It's the question customers ask us most, and the answer is the same every time: we verify every email against the live mail server before we return it, including on catch-all domains, so the emails you get are the emails you can send to. No second tool, no second bill.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit on how many emails I can find?

No. Your plan limits searches, not found emails. A search is one attempt to find one person's email, and every email those searches find is included in your monthly price. You never pay per email found.

Do I need to validate the emails you find?

No. Every email we return has already been verified against the live mail server, including on catch-all domains, behind secure email gateways and on greylisted servers. We don't return guesses: if we can't confirm a mailbox exists, we return no email. You can send to the results straight away.

Does an unlimited plan include email validation?

No. Unlimited plans cover the email finder only. Validating your own lists, and company enrichment, use credits from credit packs, which never expire. You can hold a plan and credits on the same account, and you won't need credits to validate the emails the finder returns, because they're already verified.

What counts as a search?

Each unique row in a bulk job is one search, whether we find the email or not. Duplicate rows, and rows that aren't valid LinkedIn profile URLs, don't count. Searches by LinkedIn URL and by name and domain share the same daily limit, so you can mix them however you like. On the Standard plan, 30,000 searches a day comes to about 900,000 a month.

Can I upload a CSV, or is it API only?

Both, on every plan including Starter. In the dashboard, switch on "Use unlimited plan" when you upload a list and no credits are used. Over the API, use an unlimited API key with the /v1/unlimited endpoints. Dashboard and API bulk jobs share the same daily limit.

Can I search by LinkedIn profile URL?

Yes, in bulk in the dashboard and over the API. We find the person's work email at the company they work at today, so it's the safest choice when your list is a few months old.

Can I go over my daily limit for a big one-off file?

No. The daily limit applies to every account, which keeps the platform fast for everyone. For a big one-off project, credit packs have no daily limit and you can use them on the same account. If you regularly need more than 75,000 searches a day, contact us about a custom plan.

How big can a job be?

Up to 10,000 rows per bulk job. You can run several jobs at the same time, and as many as you like until you reach your daily limit. For larger files, split them or send them over the API.

Where should OrbiSearch go in my waterfall?

First. Your plan already covers the searches, and every email we return is already verified, so sending your whole list to us first and only our misses to other providers gets you the most verified emails for the least money.

Is there a contract?

No. Plans are self-serve and month to month under our standard terms. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period, from the billing portal.
