A standard verification costs 1 credit, an email found 4 and a catch-all resolved by Deep Verify 5. New accounts get 100 free credits. Prices checked on clearout.io on October 28, 2026.

Monthly subscription$23 to $4,950/month

Starter is $23 for 3,000 credits a month. Pro runs from $58 for 10,000 credits a month to $1,260 for 1 million and $4,950 for 5 million. Unused subscription credits roll over to the next month.

Annual subscription$192 to $48,000/year

The same monthly credit allowances billed yearly, from $16 a month for 3,000 credits to $800 a month for 1 million ($9,600 a year), or $0.0008 per credit at the top tiers.

One-time credits$0.008 to $0.001/credit

The pricing page offers these as pay-as-you-go credits with no subscription, and Clearout's help docs list pay-as-you-go as a buying option, but one answer in its pricing guide still says pay-as-you-go is no longer available to new users. The same rate applies to subscribers' top-ups and auto-replenishment.

Why do teams switch from Clearout to OrbiSearch?

Lower prices at every volume

Clearout's monthly plan for 100,000 credits is $360 and for 1 million it is $1,260. OrbiSearch charges $103 and $311 for the same number of validations, 71% and 75% less.

Cheaper with no subscription

Clearout's one-time credits cost $400 for 100,000 and $1,400 for 1 million. OrbiSearch's one-time packs cost $103 and $311 for the same volumes, 74% and 78% less, and the credits never expire.

No catch-all surcharge

Clearout's Deep Verify charges 5 credits for each catch-all it resolves to a Yes or No. OrbiSearch charges the same for a catch-all as for any other address, from $0.0002 per validation.

How does each handle catch-all emails?

A catch-all domain accepts mail for every address, so a basic check cannot tell a real mailbox from a made-up one. Both services resolve them without sending email. The difference is what it costs and how you turn it on.

OrbiSearch

Every check, one price

Catch-all, SEG-protected and greylisted addresses are resolved at the mailbox level wherever the mailbox can be checked, in the same API call or CSV upload as every other address. No email is sent, there is no separate mode to switch on, and a catch-all costs the same as any other validation.

Clearout

Catch All status, or Deep Verify at 5 credits

Standard verification returns Valid, Invalid, Catch All or Unknown, and charges 1 credit for a Catch All result. Deep Verify mode tries to resolve catch-all and SEG-protected addresses to Valid or Invalid, which Clearout says it does without a test email. It charges 5 credits when the safe-to-send verdict is Yes or No, and 1 credit when it stays Risky.

Savings are against the monthly plan. Clearout's annual plans cost less per credit (down to $0.0008) but bill a year up front. Catch-alls resolved with Deep Verify cost 5 credits each on Clearout and nothing extra on OrbiSearch. OrbiSearch prices are the cheapest pack covering each volume. Prices checked October 28, 2026.

How much does Clearout cost?

Clearout's monthly plans start at $23 for 3,000 credits (Starter). Pro plans run from $58 a month for 10,000 credits to $4,950 a month for 5 million. Annual billing gives the same monthly allowance for less, from $192 a year for 3,000 credits a month to $9,600 a year for 1 million a month. One-time pay-as-you-go credits are listed on the pricing page at $40 for 5,000 down to $10,000 for 10 million, though Clearout's pricing guide also says pay-as-you-go is no longer available to new users. How does Clearout handle catch-all emails?

Clearout's standard verification marks catch-all addresses with a Catch All status and charges 1 credit for them. Its Deep Verify mode goes further and tries to resolve them to Valid or Invalid; Clearout says it does this without sending a test email and detects Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda and Microsoft EOP gateways. Deep Verify costs 5 credits when the safe-to-send verdict comes back Yes or No, and 1 credit when it stays Risky. OrbiSearch resolves catch-all, SEG-protected and greylisted addresses in the same pass as every other address, at the same price, without sending email.

What does it cost to resolve a catch-all on Clearout vs OrbiSearch?

On Clearout, a catch-all resolved by Deep Verify costs 5 credits: about $0.029 on the $58 monthly plan, $0.018 on the $360 plan and $0.0063 on the $1,260 plan. On OrbiSearch a catch-all costs the same as any other validation, from $0.003 down to $0.0002 depending on the pack.

Is OrbiSearch cheaper than Clearout?

Yes, for email verification. At 100,000 emails OrbiSearch costs $103 against $360 for Clearout's 100,000-credit monthly plan (71% less). At 1 million it is $311 against $1,260 (75% less). How does email finder pricing compare?

Clearout charges 4 credits for each email it finds (2 for a role-based address) and nothing when no email is found. OrbiSearch charges 1 credit per search, found or not, and found an email for 79.2% of contacts in our August 2026 benchmark. Per email found, OrbiSearch works out at about $0.019 down to $0.0013, against $0.031 to $0.004 on Clearout's monthly plans. For example, 25,000 found emails take Clearout's $360 monthly plan, and an expected 25,000 on OrbiSearch take the $207 pack. We have not tested Clearout's find rate.

Do Clearout credits expire?

Clearout says purchased credits never expire and unused subscription credits roll over each month, though credits bought at a discount may carry an expiry date under the terms of that deal. OrbiSearch credits never expire either. The difference is price: Clearout's one-time credits cost $400 for 100,000, against $103 for the same number of validations on OrbiSearch.

Does Clearout offer features OrbiSearch doesn't?

Yes. Clearout has native CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho and others), real-time form validation (Form Guard), phone number validation, a Google Sheets add-on and a LinkedIn Chrome extension for prospecting. It also offers a deliverability guarantee: a bounce rate of no more than 3% on addresses marked safe to send, if you send within 24 hours and meet its other criteria. If you need those, Clearout covers more. If you need verification and email finding at volume, OrbiSearch costs less.
