From LinkedIn URL or domain to a clean company record

Company Enrichment API

Send a company's LinkedIn URL or website domain and get back its industry, headcount, headquarters, similar companies and the domain its email is actually at. One at a time, or up to 100,000 per bulk job.

100 free credits on sign-up. 1 credit per company.

Why company data goes wrong

Most enrichment gets the company name right. The details that decide whether your outreach lands are where it slips.

The website isn't where email lives

When a company is bought, its website often stays up while its staff move to the parent company's email. Build emails on the old domain and they bounce.

Lookalikes are hard to find

Once a company converts, finding more like it means guessing at industry filters. A list of genuinely similar companies is a better place to start.

Domain lists are messy

A domain that now redirects to another company still looks like a match until you check where it goes.

How it works

1

Send a LinkedIn URL or a domain

One company at a time, or up to 100,000 in a single bulk job over the API. A LinkedIn company URL gives the best results; a website domain works too.

2

We match the company

We find the company behind the input, and for a domain we tell you when it redirects somewhere else, so a mismatch doesn't slip into your CRM.

3

You get a clean record

Firmographics, headcount, similar companies, and the domain the company's email is actually at.

The website, and where the email actually lives

A company's website and its email domain are usually the same. When they aren't, we work out the domain the company actually gets email at and confirm it belongs to the same company. That's the domain to build email addresses on.

2 fields

domain is the company's website. email_domain is where its email is. You always see which is which.

No guesses

When a company has no website of its own, domain is left empty. A wrong domain is worse than none.

What you get back

One JSON record per company, the same shape for a single request and for every row of a bulk job.

Simple pricing

1 credit per company, from the same credits you use for email finding and validation. Credits never expire.

Duplicates charged once

Send the same company twice in a bulk job and you pay for it once. Every row still comes back, in order.

Bad rows are free

Blank cells and values that aren't a LinkedIn company URL or a domain are skipped and not charged.

Refunded on our errors

If we can't complete a request because of a problem on our side, the credit comes back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to enrich a company?

Its LinkedIn company URL, for example linkedin.com/company/kearney, or its website domain, for example kearney.com. The LinkedIn URL gives the best results, because it names exactly one company. A domain works too, and we tell you if it redirects to another website.

What's the difference between domain and email_domain?

domain is the company's website domain. email_domain is the domain the company's email is at. For almost every company they're the same. When they differ, for example a brand bought by a bigger company whose staff now email at the parent's domain, email_domain is the one to build email addresses on.

How much does it cost?

1 credit per company, whether or not we find it. In bulk, duplicate companies are charged once and rows that aren't a valid LinkedIn URL or domain cost nothing. If we can't complete a request because of a problem on our side, the credit is refunded. You get 100 free credits when you sign up.

Do unlimited plans cover company enrichment?

No. Unlimited plans cover the email finder. Company enrichment uses credits from a credit pack, and you can hold a plan and credits on the same account.

What's the difference between company_size and employee_count?

company_size is the headcount range the company gives for itself, like 5,001 to 10,000 employees. employee_count is an estimated headcount.

What happens with a domain that redirects?

We follow it and tell you. is_redirect is true and redirected_to shows where the domain goes. That catches acquired brands and parked domains before they're matched to the wrong company.

Can I enrich a list from the dashboard?

Company enrichment is available over the API today: GET /v1/company-enrichment for one company, and POST /v1/company-enrichment/bulk for up to 100,000 rows per job. Each bulk row can be a LinkedIn URL or a domain, and results come back in the order you sent them.

How does it fit with the email finder?

Enrich the company, then search for people at its email_domain, or give the email finder a LinkedIn profile URL and it works out the employer and its email domain for you. The same credits work across both.
